What is The Catholic Wife all about?

Paper thesis term paper writing to ensure Termpaperstar.com. . Paper term thesis writing review writing services.

The Catholic Wife was created because of a belief that there is a need out there for the voice of Roman Catholic women on the internet.  There are a multitude of websites these days that focus on being a godly woman, wife, and mother.  These sites offer a lot of ideas/beliefs/mandates for women who want to be faithful Christians and live a conservative and/or orthodox life.  However, most of these come from a Fundamentalist Protestant background.  When it comes to being a a web-savvy Catholic woman, there are only a few options out there.  As a result, Catholic women use other sites as resources even though they are not in line with what the Holy Mother Church teaches and holds dear.  So what's a Catholic girl to do?  The Catholic Wife will someday, God willing, be a place where Catholic women can come and find articles/essays/etc. that are representative of their faith.  The site is not only geared towards wives, of course, but toward all Catholic Christian women at every age and stage in life.  Professionals in the city, farmers in the country, and every woman in between will hopefully find something to connect with on this site as it continues to grow.  My prayer is that all who visit here will be edified and affirmed.  May God bless you and your loved ones and thank you for stopping by!

Please click on the various topics along the top to access all thate the site currently offers.  Also, please be patient and check back often as this site is in its infancy and will continue to expand.  Thank you for visiting.

Ephesians 5:21-33 (NRSV)

Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.
Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord.  For the husband is the head of the wife just as Christ is the head of the church, the body of which he is the Savior.  Just as the church is subject to Christ, so also wives ought to be, in everything, to their husbands.  Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, in order to make her holy by cleansing her with the washing of water by the word, so as to present the church to himself in splendor, without a spot or wrinkle or anything of the kind - yes, so that she may be holy and without blemish.  In the same way, husbands should love their wives as they do their own bodies.  He who loves his wife loves himself.  For no one ever hates his own body, but he nourishes and tenderly cares for it, just as Christ does for the church, because we are members of his body.  For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined with his wife, and the two will become one flesh.  This is a great mystery, and I am applying it to Christ and the church.  Each of you, however, should love his wife as himself, and a wife should respect her husband.
